Rangavalli Patterns of Maharashtra
India is a famous country in world for its rich cultural and traditions. Various rituals are performed on every festival and celebration across the country. Rangoli designing is one of the main parts of those rituals. It is the art of drawing patterns on floor using rice and turmeric powder, stone colors and flowers. It is known with different names in different part of India.
Maharashtra, the great state famous for their grate worrier “Chatrapati Shivaji” and main festival “Ganesh Chaturthi” is also known for their rich culture and rituals. Rangoli designing here called “Rangvalli”. Rangoli thick powder made from special rock is used in various colors, and the powder of burnt rice skin is used to draw rangoli in Konkan part of Maharashtra.
