social or ritual occasion in this country. As like the other states of India Rangoli is also good known as a human art in Arunachal Pradesh. Though the state Arunachal Pradesh is a famous place in the sense of natural beauty the art of Rangoli enhance the importance of this state of India.
Actually the art of Rangoli is a part of human lifestyles. It is the art which can be know or understand as the creation of mind or thinking power of a human body. A person can design fabulous patterns on the floors and walls as like his/her imagination. It is the art which is depends on the imagination power of a human being. Rangoli is one of the most popular art forms in India. It is a form of sand canvas adornment that uses finely ground white dust and colors, and is used normally outside houses and shops in India.
In Arunachal Pradesh various patterns or designs were once shaped using rice flour. Holding a handful of flour in their right hand, the woman will evenly drop the ground to make a line through her thumb and indicator and keep on touching her hands to make the bend or the dot. At the present time, women use crushed stones. Various festivals of Arunachal Pradesh like Lossar, Boori Boot, Dree, Nechi Dau, Khan, Ojiale, Reh, Sanken and Si-Donyi are good time to watch this rangoli art.
